Thoughts for the soul 

Since my childhood, I used to listen from my teachers that there is not always an answer to “why” you can only answer the how, when, where,  but “why” is always a challenge. Well, the purpose is not to recall my childhood memories but to highlight an issue which always forces me to ponder on, because of not answering that ‘why’ as a nation, we are facing the current situations of higher inflation, bribery, dishonesty, misrepresentation, and much more.

The interesting thing is that we also claim to be devoted Muslims, there will be a separate discussion on this topic, here I just want to figure out what has made us stand in this position as a nation. In my opinion, from the very beginning, we guide our generation to just follow the safe path whether it’s moral or immoral. But try to choose one where you are safe, for example not picking phone in front of our children and telling the other side that it was on silent or the like. When asked afterward, we usually make our children lie about the situation and we train them about how to misrepresent the situation. Enjoying a movie on your android and telling someone that you’re not at home in front of your children, this ultimately trains your children how to be dishonest with others. The solution to this “why” is focusing on early child development programs. This is how we will eliminate all these problems. According to studies, 80% percent of a child’s brain is developed within the first two years. If you’re not prepared to nurture your children with morals, you will get a man but not a human. Beware of the quality of the seed you are planting, because one day it is going to grow the fruit for which it was planted. The world took a little time but it’s clear now that if due considerations are not given to ECD at right time then it is no use crying over spilled milk.
