What is love? Is true love a myth?

What is love? Is true love a myth?

Khalifa asked Laila,” Are you the same? Due to which, Qais became mad and insane, and wandering around. You are not more beautiful than the others. She replied: Be silent because you’re not Majnun. If you had the eyes of Majnun, both the worlds would be worthless in your eyes. You’re conscious and Majnun is unconscious. Awareness like yours is dreaded on the path of love.

Frankly, the writer is not an expert at love, he barely knows anything about it. There is no one out there who we could consider a love expert. This author has deliberately interviewed people around and has done a great degree of research before drafting this.

It is very pertinent to have a thorough discussion about the most imperative facet of life and that’s LOVE. We die, we live, we strive, and we fight for love. Quite hurriedly, love is a bundle of emotions embedded with kindness, compassion, passion, and a touch of romance. Most importantly, it isn’t about rewriting the theories on the internet for the audience, but what we feel about love is remarkable to be discussed.

If you believe that there is someone out there appropriately, rightly for you, then you believe in one true love. But, beware, love has dangers with it. It can break you without actually breaking you. One of the interviewers explained love as” the presence of the one who is at the moment not there.

It is like

تم ميرے پاس ہوتے ہو گویا

جب کوئی دوسرا نہیں ہوتا

A few months earlier, a person committed suicide because of love failure, thus life is driven by love. Moreover, people cutting their hands and getting admitted for months in hospitals is very prevalent. This is what the writer considers an illness, a madness, a feeling of worthlessness not surely love. Love can break you, but it can’t make you a coward. So, don’t consider these negatively charged thoughts ” LoVe”.

True love is a buffled story, exclaimed one interviewee. He says, go to a place where there is no one around, listen to the throbs of your heart, listen to your inner voice. The connection of the creator with his creation is love. This interviewee was in a relationship and he is soon going to marry, but he doesn’t believe in mundane love. The only true love is divine love.

All the sonnets, poetry, legends, books, ballets, stories, and cards, what are they? If love is not true . In a poll in the US, college students were asked,” if they believe in a true match, a soulmate?” 55 per cent said “yes”. Love is a belief. It holds true for believers. Logically, defining love is just insanity. There is no logic, there is just Love.

Rumi says ” lovers don’t finally meet somewhere. They’re in each other all along”.

Another interviewee said ” true love exists but when it is achieved, it loses all its worth”. Adding, it is just not possible to stay with one mate throughout the life. We have to understand this, that it gets boring after a while, a person is not always attractive. It is just an illusion to believe that there exists one true soulmate. It is like beating around the bush. We should experience love in different ways. Conventional definitions of love are not always true.

Experts say love is a brain activity, affiliating it with the heart is just sheer blindness. There is nothing like broken hearts, in fact, broken brains. Sometimes, people fall for the fake person on social media and other dating sites. What about that love? That’s an attachment for the time being. But, the writer will not suggest fake love, whether online or offline.

Advice for all lovers: be realistic and set realistic expectations, otherwise illusionary expectations would ruin your relationship. Be practical and pay attention to your partner’s feelings. True love can hurt you, it is sometimes injurious to your health. Making it more interesting, true love is a remarkable human experience with great highs and great lows. Love is in human’s instincts. That’s why it is the best way to transfer your DNA to the next generation. Love depicts itself through intimacy.

As the best advocate of love, Rumi says, “there is a time when nothing is meaningful except surrending to love. Do it”. The writer’s fault is that he loves John Elia. Because his words are so simple in explaining the pain of broken hearts with a bundle of laughs.

ہم جیسے دلبروں کو جہنم میں ڈال کر

بیٹھے رہو بہشت کو ویراں کیے ہوئے ۔

Almost all the subcontinental youngsters were born in the boom of the Indian film industry Bollywood. Love doesn’t depict what Amir Khan says in “Three Idiots”, that people in love feel a sensation of fresh breeze etc. From committing suicide, court marriages, high alcohol consumption, long hair, tattoos to fighting, teasing, cutting remarks and all those bullshits have been constructed as love by Bollywood.

Love sucks, that is true, but it isn’t always what Bollywood has been displaying for decades. Our narrative of love is mostly driven by Indian films. That’s why we are all making a mess with relationships.

The great 20th century British philosopher Bertrand Russel once said : of all forms of caution, caution in love is perhaps the most fatal to true happiness.

Why do many people end up in fear of rejection before approaching their true love? It is due to the circle of dignity which abstains them from opening to the outside world. Love is openness to your surroundings, and sometimes inner empowerment. Banu Qudsia is considerable while discussing Love. She says love is like intentionally sitting in an open cage like a parrot.

The self-worth theory.

This writer believes in self worth. It is pertinent to conclude on a high node. This is a true narration about how the self-worth theory actually works. In today’s world, people are very unrealistic. They believe in supernatural theories of love and commitment. A person “A” was declined

when he sent a marriage proposal to a person “B” who was receiving her higher education from a prestigious institution. This person “A” got furious and decided to make something out of himself. He was less than an average person. He says ” I kept the photo of the person”B” in front of me, because it reminded me of my inferiority. That inferiority was electric enough to push me to study all night. He added,” I spend my sleepless nights not crying but studying. Afterwards, his struggles paid him his rewards. He was now a bureaucrat. Narrating his own words, ” I was going to my home village in my personal car. On the way to my home, I saw a couple waving their hands for a lift. I parked my car to offer them a drive. The couple got in and I turned my head around to say Salam to them. I saw that girl who rejected me due to my inferiority.

Concludingly, it is about your worth in a relationship, whether you’re a male or a female. It is about the actions which show your affections, not your words. Be practical, before loving someone, make yourself worthy enough of that person. Stop crying for these mere attractions. Be a person of commitment, first love yourself. Don’t ruin your life after faking these modern-day one-night commitments as true love. You’ve the right to say no without explaining yourself. Simply putting, a worthless person doesn’t deserve pure love, not at all.

In Greek mythology, there is a God of love whose name is Eros. He is a little boy who follows his mother’s wishes to make people fall in love. It is love that existed in every era of human evolution. From mythologies to modern-day science, love is still not defined. The writer has not confined love to any definition, because love is what one defines it to be. Dears ” laugh as much as you breathe. Love as much as you live”.

Feel how the greater being comes!

Rejoice, and in rejoicing,  die!

Melt in the music of the drums!

For I’m you and you’re I!

There is no clear-cut definition of love. It is the beauty of love that it gets its meaning from the perspective of an individual and obviously, everyone perceives it in a different way. I appreciate your precious thoughts about love.
